A well-balanced attack led the Bloomington North Cougars over the Columbus East Olympians in every quarter on their way to victory on Saturday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Bloomington North blew Columbus East out of the water with a 79-52 final score. Given Bloomington North's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 111th, while Columbus East is ranked 223rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Bloomington North got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Luke Lindeman out in front who scored 25 points along with two steals. Bloomington North has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-9 record this season. As for Columbus East, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.
