Volleyball Recap: Madison East Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Madison East had to endure a ten-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Ripon Tigers by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The Purgolders were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Tigers, so the Purgolders were just returning the favor.

Tatum Inda paced Madison East's offense, picking up five kills. Inda got some help from Sheila Gandjui and her seven assists. Reese Inda controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Madison East's victory bumped their record up to 6-18. As for Ripon, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-15 record this season.

Madison East didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Cambridge on the 27th. As for Ripon, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Stoughton on the 27th.
