Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Avon Lake). They blew past the Max S. Hayes Lakers 12-0 on Monday. Considering Avon Lake have won seven contests by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Max S. Hayes from everywhere, as eight different players booted in a goal. Silas Spagnola led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Avon Lake pushed their record up to 15-1-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three matches. As for Max S. Hayes, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
