Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Centennial). Everything went their way against the Kell Longhorns on Friday as the Centennial Knights made off with a 6-2 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Knights needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

They hit Kell with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Hailey Brinkman (2), Avery Landsman (2), Emily Gore, and Nora Hartwig.

With the victory, Centennial broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-6. As for Kell, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Centennial will have a chance to go back-to-back against Kell: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
