After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Rodriguez finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Benicia Panthers by a score of 3-1. The Mustangs' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Rodriguez saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Angelique Boot, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

The loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 5-2. As for Benicia, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rodriguez will welcome Pioneer at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Benicia will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Clayton Valley Charter at 4:30 p.m. on April 3rd.
