Basketball Recap: Amber-Pocasset's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Amber-Pocasset had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They secured a 46-40 W over the Alex Longhorns. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 54-44 last Tuesday.

Amber-Pocasset's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.7 points per game. As for Alex, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 11-4.

Amber-Pocasset didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 41-27 win against Lindsay on the 25th. Alex has also already played their next game, a 35-32 loss against Minco on the 25th.
