Volleyball Recap: St. Ursula Academy Comes Up Short

St. Ursula Academy lost against Magnificat back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Arrows lost 3-0 to the Blue Streaks. The Arrows have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-21, 25-15.

Olivia Strasser paced St. Ursula Academy's offense, picking up eight kills. Strasser got some help from Ellie Panczyszyn and her 26 assists.

Kailey Snow went supernova For Magnificat., getting 27 digs and four aces. That's the most aces Snow has posted over her last ten games.

St. Ursula Academy now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Magnificat, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

St. Ursula Academy has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Notre Dame Academy on the 10th. As for Magnificat, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin on the 9th.
