Basketball Game Preview: Stigler Panthers vs. Eufaula Ironheads

The Stigler Panthers will take on the Eufaula Ironheads at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Stigler is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

Stigler came up short against Sallisaw on Tuesday, falling 59-37.

Meanwhile, Eufaula was just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 41-40 to Checotah. The Ironheads haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Eufaula's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Stigler, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.

Stigler came up short against Eufaula when the teams last played back in February of 2023, falling 46-41. Can Stigler avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
