 Freeport was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss. They lost  7-0 to the Knoch Knights. The  matchup marked the first time this season in which Freeport was not able to get on the board.
 For Knoch's part,  not much got past  Hunter Lang, who gave up just  three  hits to keep Freeport off the board. Lang has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Cooper Allison was  excellent,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances. He has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times he's  played.  Logan Cypher was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.
 Freeport's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Knoch, their win  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 4-8.
 Freeport will  face off against Highlands at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Knoch, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  a  4-0  victory vs. Deer Lakes on the 27th.
