Basketball Recap: Nevada Takes a Loss

Nevada was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 51-25 to the Mineral Springs Hornets. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Jays this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 44-36 back in December of 2024.

Nevada's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Mineral Springs, they pushed their record up to 9-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Oden the next time they take the court. Mineral Springs will head out to face Oden at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, while Nevada will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
