Basketball Recap: Oxford Takes a Loss

Oxford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat. They were dealt a 58-23 loss at the hands of the Sun Valley Vanguards. The contest marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Oxford's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Sun Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oxford has already played their next contest (against Kennett), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Sun Valley has also has no score uploaded for their next match, this one against Avon Grove.
