Goose Creek Memorial extended their winning streak to three on Thursday, bumping their season record up to 10-12-1 in the process. Everything went their way against the Humble Wildcats as they made off with a 14-1 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-2 on Tuesday.

As for Humble, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-19-1 record this season. They just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

For Humble's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anthony Hines, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Goose Creek Memorial is set to square off against their familiar foe Atascocita at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Humble will face off against rival Kingwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
