Basketball Recap: Norborne Comes Up Short

Norborne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 32-26 heartbreaker at the hands of the Tri-County Mustangs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pirates of the 57-48 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Norborne's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Tri-County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Norborne will square off against Braymer/Breckenridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tri-County, they will challenge Linn County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
