Beaumont had won four straight games and Tessa Martinez did her part to make it five on Monday. Beaumont strolled past Norco with points to spare, taking the game 28-12 for which the team can thank Martinez, who threw for 333 yards and four TDs, and also rushed for 36 yards. She is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as she's now passed for three or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Beaumont's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB four times. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Kiera Houston.

Although Norco took the loss, they still got scores from Ryleigh Kennedy and Aaliyah Taylor.

Beaumont's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Norco, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Coincidentally, Beaumont and Norco will both be playing Centennial the next time they take the field. Beaumont will head out to face Centennial at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, while Norco will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
