Soccer Recap: Dubuque Senior Takes a Loss

After flying high against Washington last Friday, Dubuque Senior came back down to earth. The Rams lost 5-0 to the Linn-Mar Lions on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, Dubuque Senior can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa soccer rankings (they are ranked 109th, while Linn-Mar are ranked 15th).

Dubuque Senior dropped their record down to 8-10-2 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Linn-Mar, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 15-4-1.

Dubuque Senior does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Linn-Mar, they have already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Wilton on the 30th.
