While Pillager's win against Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Huskies sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-7 victory over the Bears on Thursday. The Huskies haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Elliott Imdieke made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those runs marked the first that he has scored this season.
