There's no place like home for South Dearborn, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Rushville Lions on Saturday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-0 victory on September 4th.

South Dearborn never let Rushville on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 27-25.

Kelsey Clyde paced South Dearborn's offense, picking up eight kills. Clyde got some help from Brynn Hamlett and her 18 assists. Clyde was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

South Dearborn's win bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Rushville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.
