Liberty put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 25-6 victory over the Pittsburg Pirates. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lions also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Liberty's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Pittsburg, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 7-3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Liberty is set to face off against their familiar foe Foothill at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Lions 2.9, the Falcons 13.4) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Pittsburg will challenge rival California at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
