Orland waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 56-53 win over the Redding Christian Lions. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Trojans' disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 616th, while the Lions are ranked 276th).

Orland got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Dominick Bose out in front who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 boards. Preston Carlson was another key player, putting up 12 points and six assists.

Orland has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Redding Christian, they moved to 15-3 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Orland will welcome Live Oak at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Orland is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.6 points per game this season. As for Redding Christian, they will host Hayfork at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
