After a string of eight wins, South Harrison's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of the Lathrop Mules by a score of 51-49. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 65-59 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

South Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Lathrop, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season.

When South Harrison and Lathrop next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. South Harrison will challenge Mid-Buchanan and their five-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th. South Harrison is looking to tack on another W to their eight-game streak on the road. Meanwhile, Lathrop will try to stop Savannah's 11-game winning streak when the meet at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
