Volleyball Recap: Summit K2 Takes a Loss

Summit K2 was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Concord Bears.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-18, 25-9.

Concord was led to victory by Edris Asadi and Levi Serrano. Asadi had four digs and four aces, while Serrano had nine aces and four digs. Serrano is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 13 or more in each of the last five games he's played.

Summit K2's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Concord, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-13 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Summit K2 will head out to square off against Emery at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Concord, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Pittsburg at 5:30 p.m. on the 15th.
