Football Game Preview: Conestoga Pioneers vs. Lower Merion Aces

The Conestoga Pioneers will head out on the road to face off against the Lower Merion Aces at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Conestoga comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Conestoga's offense might be in the hot seat on Saturday considering what happened against Strath Haven on Friday. They were outmatched by the Panthers and fell 35-0. While losing is never fun, the Pioneers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 368th, while the Panthers are ranked 51st).

Meanwhile, Lower Merion had to suffer through a 42-7 loss at the hands of Marple Newtown. That's two games in a row now that the Aces have lost by exactly 35 points.

Conestoga's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Lower Merion, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Conestoga couldn't quite finish off Lower Merion when the teams last played back in October of 2024 and fell 40-38. Can the Pioneers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
