Basketball Recap: Leland Triumphs

If Prospect wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Leland, they should've done a better job of containing Steven Watson. The Leland Chargers managed a 55-50 win over the Prospect Panthers on Friday thanks in part to Watson, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 24 points in addition to five rebounds and three blocks. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

The victory got Leland back to even at 2-2. As for Prospect, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 2-2.

Leland will host Pioneer at 7:00 p.m. on December 13th. As for Prospect, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against San Jose at 8:00 p.m. Prospect is facing San Jose at the right time seeing as San Jose is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
