Central Mountain got a great performance from Brady Myers as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Bryce Brungard relieved him and did a solid job, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (he also didn't allow any walks).
On the hitting side, Kevin Grenninger was incredible, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Maldonado, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
On Milton's side, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luke Goodwin, who went 2-for-3 with a double.
Central Mountain's win bumped their record up to 2-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central Mountain will challenge Selinsgrove at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
