Volleyball Recap: Make It Seven in a Row for Herbert Hoover

Herbert Hoover faced Poca in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Huskies walked away with a 2-0 win over the Dots. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Huskies also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2023.

Herbert Hoover's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kylie Hackney, who had five digs and three aces. Hackney has been hot recently, having also posted 14 or more assists the last three times she's played. Lilli Lancaster was another key player, getting 12 assists and six digs.

The victory (which was Herbert Hoover's seventh in a row) raised their record to 24-2-1. As for Poca, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-1-2.
