Bonanza came tearing into Saturday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28 points) and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 76-57 victory over the Illinois Valley Cougars. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Antlers also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Bonanza's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Illinois Valley, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-3 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bonanza will take on Chiloquin in a tournament on Friday. As for Illinois Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Riddle at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
