Baseball Recap: IMG Academy White Ascenders vs. Southeastern Prep Academy Falcons
After a string of three wins, IMG Academy White's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southeastern Prep Academy Falcons.
JD Westveld made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Greyson Martin, who went 1-for-2 with a stolen base and two RBI.
IMG Academy White's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Southeastern Prep Academy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. IMG Academy White will face off against Shorecrest Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Southeastern Prep Academy, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on MVP Baseball Academy at 3:00 p.m. on April 15th.
