Football Recap: Escambia Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Escambia can now relate to. They had to suffer through a 41-0 loss at the hands of the Booker T. Washington Wildcats. The loss leaves the Gators still looking for their first win of the season.

Anaiyah Adams had another great game (as she tends to do), throwing for 182 yards and two TDs while completing 75% of her passes, and also rushing for 31 yards and one score for Booker T. Washington.

Escambia's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Booker T. Washington, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

Escambia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Booker T. Washington, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 32-0 loss against Fort Walton Beach on the 15th.
