Baseball Recap: St. Mary Takes a Loss

St. Mary fell victim to Lyndhurst and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 9-0 to the Golden Bears. The Gaels were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Golden Bears earlier this season, when they won 7-3.

St. Mary's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 9-1 and their overall record down to 16-9. As for Lyndhurst, their victory bumped their record up to 15-8.

St. Mary wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against North Arlington on the 16th. As for Lyndhurst, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Weehawken on the 16th.
