Bridgehampton waltzed into their match on Wednesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They enjoyed a cozy 60-43 win over the Shelter Island Islanders. The Killer Bees pushed the score to 54-25 by the end of the third, a deficit the Islanders cut but never quite recovered from.

Bridgehampton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jai Feaster led the charge by going 7 of 12 en route to 17 points. Feaster's afternoon made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylen Harding, who went 5 for 6 on his way to 13 points and seven boards.

Bridgehampton pushed their record up to 13-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Shelter Island, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Bridgehampton is taking a road trip to square off against Smithtown Christian at 5:45 p.m. on Saturday. As for Shelter Island, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Ross at 6:30 p.m. Shelter Island is facing Ross at the right time seeing as Ross is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
