            Football Recap: Rappahannock County vs. Chincoteague Ponies        
        
		
        
        
            
After flying high against Model Secondary School for the Deaf  last Friday, Rappahannock County came back down to earth. Rappahannock County took  a  33-14 bruising from the Chincoteague Ponies on Friday. Rappahannock County was down  27-6 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
  Camaury Davis continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Chincoteague, rushing for 320 yards and four  scores while picking up 16.0 yards per carry. With that strong performance,  Davis is now averaging an impressive 140.2  rushing yards per game.
Rappahannock County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Chincoteague, their win  ended  a  four-game drought at home  dating back to last season and  bumped them up to 2-2.
 Coming up, Rappahannock County is taking a road trip to  square off against Quantico  at 2:00  p.m.  on Saturday. As for Chincoteague, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Kenston Forest at 6:00  p.m.  on  the 26th.
