There's no place like home for Battle Ground Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They blew past the Grace Christian Academy Lions 11-1 on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won seven in a row.

Leelee Fernandez spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on four hits and racked up six Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Lucy Langfitt, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Lauren Atkins, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
