Volleyball Recap: Soddy Daisy Beats East Hamilton for Their Fourth Straight Win

Soddy Daisy entered their tilt with East Hamilton on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Hurricanes. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-1 win back in September.

Gracie Simpson paced Soddy Daisy's offense, picking up 13 kills. Simpson got some help from Aubrey Renfro and her 17 assists. Renfro also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with McClendon Moss, each putting up two.

When it comes to explaining why East Hamilton lost, don't look at Katelynn Tomanelli. Despite the final result, she had 16 digs. Tomanelli is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Soddy Daisy now has a winning record of 13-12. As for East Hamilton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-25.

Soddy Daisy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Bradley Central on the 8th. East Hamilton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
