It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but South Bend Saint Joseph had no problem doing just that on Monday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the New Prairie Cougars. This was a revenge game for South Bend Saint Joseph: when they faced off against New Prairie back in September, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

Ara Horvath and Adam King scored both of South Bend Saint Joseph's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

The victory made it two in a row for South Bend Saint Joseph and bumps their season record up to 3-11-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matches. As for New Prairie, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9-1.

Looking ahead, South Bend Saint Joseph will face off against Culver Academies at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. New Prairie does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
