Football Game Preview: Kidder County Wolves vs. New Salem Holsteins

The Kidder County Wolves will face off against the New Salem Holsteins on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Kidder County's last matchup with Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock/Strasburg/Zeeland could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Friday. The Wolves lost 36-14 to Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock/Strasburg/Zeeland. The Wolves' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Preston Fischer, who picked up 124 receiving yards and one TD. His longest reception was for an incredible 80 yards.

Meanwhile, New Salem came up short against Mott-Regent/New England on Friday and fell 28-18.

Kidder County's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for New Salem, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Kidder County didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against New Salem in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, but they still walked away with a 38-34 win. Will the Wolves repeat their success, or do the Holsteins have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
