Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Washington). They blew past the Marshall Academy Patriots, posting a 53-6 win. Considering the Generals have won eight matchups by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Max Morgan continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 91 yards and four TDs on only seven carries. Those four rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

Special teams also played a big role in the game for Washington, adding 13 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Reid Henderson, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Washington pushed their record up to 9-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.8 points on average over those games. As for Marshall Academy, with the loss, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-2.

As of now, neither Washington nor the Patriots have any future games scheduled.
