Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Monterey). They blew past the Boyd Christian Broncos 67-28 on Friday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 64-44 back in December of 2024.

Monterey's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Garrett Wessels led the charge by putting up 12 points and three steals. Jp Miller was another key player, earning nine points and six rebounds.

Monterey smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

The victory made it two in a row for Monterey and bumps their season record up to 6-13. As for Boyd Christian, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-16.
