Soccer Recap: Chippewa Takes a Loss

After soaring to nine goals the game before, Chippewa was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Ashland Arrows by a score of 1-0. If Chippewa were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to Ashland when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Chippewa's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Ashland, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-2.

Coming up, Chippewa will challenge Smithville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ashland, they will face off against New Philadelphia at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Ashland are facing New Philadelphia at the right time seeing as New Philadelphia are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
