Lakeville North never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They walked away with a 5-0 win over the Apple Valley Eagles. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.
The result came thanks to Aivry Abraham's shutout, as she gave up just four hits.
At the plate, Alicia Jeanson was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. That stolen base was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Baylee Brenno, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.
Lakeville North was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
The victory made it two in a row for Lakeville North and bumps their season record up to 2-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Apple Valley, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-5.
