Soccer Recap: Foothill Find Success

Foothill kept a clean sheet against Sunny Hills on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Sunny Hills Lancers. Even though the Knights got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( Jacob Garcia was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.

Foothill's one-goal win came courtesy of Alexander Rios, which was the first he's scored this season.

Foothill's win bumped their record up to 8-4-3. As for Sunny Hills, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-4-3.

Foothill will venture away from home to square off against Canyon at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Sunny Hills, they will welcome El Dorado at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
