Basketball Recap: Brevard Christian's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

After flying high against Brevard HEAT last Friday, Brevard Christian came back down to earth. The Brevard Christian War Eagles came up short against the Florida Prep Falcons on Monday, falling 69-46. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the War Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 67-45 last Friday.

Despite the loss, Brevard Christian still got an impressive performance from Justin Williams, who posted 15 points and seven boards. Williams' evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Samuel Mitchell, who had 14 points.

Brevard Christian moved to 13-12 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for Florida Prep, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2.

Brevard Christian has already played their next match (against Synergy Magnet K12), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Florida Prep has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against St. Edward's.
