Basketball Recap: Maple Lake Sets Scoring Season-High Against St. John's Prep

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Maple Lake). They walked away with an 80-73 victory over the St. John's Prep Johnnies on Monday. This was payback for the Irish, who suffered a 56-37 loss the last time these two teams met.

Maple Lake's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-19. As for St. John's Prep, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

As for St. John's Prep, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll square off against North Lakes Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. John's Prep is facing North Lakes Academy at the right time seeing as North Lakes Academy is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
