Baseball Recap: A.J. Ellender Comes Up Short

A.J. Ellender was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 6-3 to the South Lafourche Tarpons. If the Patriots were looking for revenge after losing 8-3 to the Tarpons when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

A.J. Ellender saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Locobon, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

A.J. Ellender's loss dropped their record down to 8-18. As for South Lafourche, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-8.

A.J. Ellender wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 5-4 defeat against Centerville on the 4th. As for South Lafourche, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-4 victory against Bourgeois on the 4th.
