After a string of five wins, Cathedral Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They came up short against the Charleston Collegiate Sundevils, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sundevils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-18, 25-14.

Cathedral Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Charleston Collegiate, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Cathedral Academy will head out to square off against Pinewood Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Charleston Collegiate, they will square off against First Baptist School at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
