Football Recap: Culver City Comes Up Short

Culver City fell victim to West Covina and their airtight defense on Saturday. They took a 7-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Centaurs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 572nd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 283rd).

Culver City is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6. As for West Covina, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.

Culver City wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 13-8 defeat against Arroyo on the 13th. As for West Covina, they have also already played their next match, a 20-0 victory against Immaculate Heart on the 13th.
