Volleyball Recap: Sinton Makes It Five in a Row on the Road

Sinton proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Rockport-Fulton. This was a revenge game for Sinton: when they faced off against Rockport-Fulton back in August, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

Sinton was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 19-25, 25-27, 25-20, 15-10.

Sinton pushed their record up to 14-14 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Rockport-Fulton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-11.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Sinton will take on rival Jones at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Rockport-Fulton is set to face off against their familiar foe Calhoun at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
