Volleyball Game Preview: Cheyenne Wells Tigers vs. Haxtun Fightin' Bulldogs

The Cheyenne Wells Tigers are taking a road trip to square off against the Haxtun Fightin' Bulldogs at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cheyenne Wells is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

It was a proper cat-fight when Cheyenne Wells challenged Burlington on Thursday. The Tigers fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 3-2.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Cheyenne Wells sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 21-25, 25-17, 18-25, 15-8.

Meanwhile, Haxtun didn't have quite enough to beat Wray on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

Cheyenne Wells' loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Haxtun, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8.

Cheyenne Wells might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Haxtun when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
