Burroughs waltzed into their match on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the California City Ravens. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 last Friday.

Kyla Chilbes paced Burroughs' offense, picking up ten kills. Chilbes got some help from Mariah Redondo and her 11 assists. Chilbes was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Burroughs' victory bumped their record up to 18-3. As for California City, they now have a losing record of 10-11-1.

Burroughs has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Rosamond on the 13th. As for California City, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Boron on the 13th.
