Softball Recap: Cheney Comes Up Short

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Cheney was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They fell just short of the University Titans by a score of 3-2. The contest marked the Blackhawks' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Cheney saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Millie Bieto, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run.

Cheney's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for University, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-3.

Cheney didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-12 victory against Mead on the 16th. As for University, they have also already played their next matchup, a 16-4 win against Gonzaga Prep on the 16th.
