Basketball Recap: Harrold Takes a Loss

Harrold was the 63-48 winner over Guthrie when they last played one another back in November of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Harrold Hornets received a blow on Saturday as they fell 56-38 to the Guthrie Jaguars. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Harrold's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Guthrie, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Harrold will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Benjamin at 12:00 p.m. on December 31st. Guthrie will take on Throckmorton in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Guthrie is facing Throckmorton at the right time seeing as Throckmorton is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
